Concept

This 1960s building has offices on the upper levels and shops on the ground-floor level. The objective was to refurbish the building to meet modern-day office space requirements.

This would have been achieved by placing a transparent frontage onto the existing facade. Thermal and acoustic insulation would have been implemented between the two facades using the latest technologies. Only the interior design would have been altered inside the building.
