Concept

This project is the first phase of an all-new construction project at the E40/E17 motorway intersection in Merelbeke. It consists of seven individual, five-storey office buildings each covering 3,226 m² with an optional 550-m² archive space. The development will be accessible by public transport and will have one parking space per 30 m² of office space. From the offices, there will be a view over a centrally located water feature connecting to a five-hectare park with numerous recreational possibilities. The offices will have a contemporary design with a high-tech look and feel, extremely flexible layout and column-free spaces with raised floors and suspended ceilings. They will provide total working comfort thanks to the use of state-of-the-art technologies and will include large underground and aboveground car parks, a restaurant, gym and child day care – all hidden out of view behind the existing plane tree-lined boulevard.
